Story
ADHD is one of the most common neurological disorders in the United States—yet a staggering 75 percent of girls and women remain undiagnosed. Due to the gender gap in medical research, which does not account for symptoms manifesting differently in women—leading to increased problems with anxiety, depression, working memory, sleep, energy, and concentration—many ADHD women are left to navigate a society that fails to understand their struggles and gifts.

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Compassion & Education
I have dealt with my ADHD for many years, essentially untreated. This series helped me understand ADHD and to understand myself. The books break everything down to where you can come to grasp even the more complex aspects of ADHD through simple building blocks. They're certainly very educational and informative, but there is also an element of compassion, I think stemming from the author's own personal experience with it, so you don't feel like you're just being lectured to or treated as a sick person, but really being extended a helping hand. Worth your time.

A Comprehensive Approach
This 3-in-1 toolkit offers a holistic approach to managing ADHD. The strategy includes Guidance in Managing ADHD, a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) workbook, and a 30-day Plan of Action. Practical tools for productivity, organization, and focus. This audiobook can help you work with your brain rather than against it. The narration was clear, and the advice and practical tips make it a good addition to my library.
