This was an easygoing, cute little light novel with a few funny moments sprinkled in. If you want a fairly chill, low-stakes read then this would be a good choice. I really enjoy books like this one, so I'm grateful to Seven Seas for bringing stories like this to me and others like me.

it’s easy to listen to and not serious. there are a few minor translation errors, like saying shield instead of aegis, “the saint is the aegis of the knights” but that’s not the author or VA’s fault. overall fun and enjoyable, don’t expect deep or grim dark or something

A light novel good for relaxing easy listening. The storyline is a bit like a cliché Cinderella, with her 2 evil/cold brothers and transformation from useless person to secret hero. The protagonist is a huge idiot, and often makes situations worse through her inability to accurately understand the situation/making dumb assumptions.
It's nice to have male and female voices, though they only switch when the viewpoint switches, not during conversations between male & female characters; listening to a male unconvincingly try to sound female, or female unconvincingly try to sound male, is ear cancer and only makes audiobooks worse.
