Based on the epic miniseries...
A Story of God and All of Us is a sweeping narrative that dramatizes some of the most important events and characters in the Bible. The book is narrated like a fine novel, dramatizing the sweep of biblical events, making the men and women of scripture come alive in vivid detail and dialogue. All are historically and theologically accurate. A 10-hour miniseries on the History Channel will be based on the story, and the script has been reviewed by a number of Christian church leaders and seminarians for authenticity. The book will be released one month prior to the debut of the television series. Many prominent biblical characters will be dramatized in the story: Moses, David, Daniel, John the Baptist and, of course, Jesus. The book will reveal the prophetic significance of the empires that controlled Israel: (Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians and Romans) and how these figured into biblical prophecy, especially concerning the Messiah.

If you could sum up A Story of God and All of Us in three words, what would they be?
Our great history! What other book might you compare A Story of God and All of Us to and why?
The Bible :-)Mark Burnett and Roma Downey did a great job picking some of the stories from the Bible to engage people to want to know more about the Bible.
If you could take any character from A Story of God and All of Us out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Paul, his testimony is amazing, but I would take anyone from this story. In all the stories, the people had such a deep faith that is hard to even fathom these days. If we thought we heard a voice out of a burning bush today, or a voice telling us to build a big boat to prepare for a flood, or to march around huge walls for several days, etc. people would think that we were crazy. Stories of amazing faith!!The highlights of the Bible

What did you love best about A Story of God and All of Us?
It brought the Bible alive with outstanding characterization giving us a unique insight into their thoughts and emotions.Who was your favorite character and why?
Noah was my favorite character. He was a very strong and brave man who gambled all on his belief in G.odWhich character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?
Sarah, was performed wonderfully and easy to sympathize with. Willing to give everything for the happiness of the man she loved yet unable to hide the resentment she felt. Then when her greatest wish was granted to think it would be ripped away from her ahhhhh unthinkable and it was played well.If you could rename A Story of God and All of Us, what would you call it?

What made the experience of listening to A Story of God and All of Us the most enjoyable?
This story makes many stories that may be hard to understand if just read from the bible much more interesting and dramatic and I could not put it downWhat other book might you compare A Story of God and All of Us to and why?
The bible I would think but that might be to specific but I think that might be my only comparison due to the fact that these stories are straight out of scripture and made to be more understandable to the average reader.Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
His was my first by Keith David but I thought his performance was very good never had difficulty with clarity and it was a recognizable Hollywood voiceWho was the most memorable character of A Story of God and All of Us and why?
Well I would say Jesus because he has always been my inspiration and to read histories like they were portrayed in this book was a complete joy and absolutely movingVery moving
