Great listen.

Everything was leading to the eventual ending but it was still a great story. I could see Denzel and Don in both characters as I listened.

Excellent!

Loved everything! Everyone needs a friend like Mouse! Crazy asf and will do anything for their friend. I’m so disappointed about EdaMae, though not surprised. I kind of saw that coming and Easy is the one that set it up. Another awesome narrating job from Michael Boatman!

Fantastic story by a Master storyteller

Mosely writes with a rhythm and pulse that captivates you. The way he stitches and sews the fabric of this tale and take the reader back in time is why he is a Master at his craft. Great read that doesn't leave you bored or rushing through the story to get to the exciting bits.

This is my first Walter Mosley book, yet i am a big fan of The Devil in a Blue Dress movie. I like his style of writing.

A convoluted Easy Rawlings mystery

Very good mystery, surprise villain.
I just wish the reader could pronounce
Chaim correctly, not Kayan.
