Careful What You Say
Telling his mates how he beat the bookies is overheard by the wrong people. It puts him in harms way and possible death if Claire can't find him in time. Claire develops a relationship with Peter. Grant Love did a great job with the narration.

good
This was suspenseful and the action at the end was rapid fire. I liked that it had some resolution, but now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Evil never dies it just hides really well!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Alright Story, not as good as first 2 in Series
I was disappointed that this 3rd book was no where near as exciting as the first 2 books. I am hoping that the next book is back up to par with the original 2 books. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.

Gambling's harrowing consequences
Received an audio copy to review by the narrator, this is an honest review.. Grant Love pulls a seriously great performance in the third book of this amazing series as we get to know a man named Billy Taylor; that thought it was really nothing to get addicted to a gambling app during Covid- as he believes he's master way to beat the odds to win. After a boisterous conversation of his rules his friends should use to win gets Billy attention he doesn't want from men involved in drugs...their boss needs Billy's rules for this desperate needs- and won't take no fur an answer. As Billy tries desperately to not become swallowed up by this dangerous world, DI Redding and her colleagues have been shadowing these violent men, hoping to bring an end to their cruel and cold crimes; the two sides that make humanity complex collode with tough consequences. Highly recommended.

You can’t beat the bookies…
Tw: SA. Another great case to solve by DI Redding! I love to see the difference in the crimes committed throughout the series, as it shows her versatility. Love the narrator Grant Love!!
