About this listen
Anita Helm's story is a beacon of hope for those navigating adversity or questioning their path. "A Leap of Faith" proves that mistakes don't have to define you.
Questionable decisions and consequences are merely steps towards your intended destination. Peek into the restoration of a survivor, find inspiration and strength, and develop the resilience to make educated choices. These stories share Anita's vulnerabilities when making big decisions throughout her lifetime.
As she reveals her ill-advised decisions and fateful outcomes, Anita speaks openly and without shame about the lessons that life taught her. Through it all, she learned that seeking help was not a weakness but a lifeline. Anita opens up about her heartbreaking losses from the age of eleven to the present day. She speaks of a girl's journey to womanhood as she provides young adults with life lessons she wishes she had heard sooner. At no point does Anita pull back in sharing the tough realities of trying to be superwoman.
Anita divulges the joy of finding new love after failed leaps and shares the full circle of a life well lived. This book is inspiring and thought-provoking to anyone searching for answers about their purpose and their frailties.

Awesome Book
A LEAP OF FAITH is a must-read for anyone who seeks to find inspiration and strength. Anita Helm's book provides hope and optimism for those navigating through challenging times. She is an outstanding writer and the way she shares her thoughts are excellent. I'm glad I listened to this book on audible. She has a great voice and as a listener vs a reader you can actually focus on the purpose of the writing and why she shares her story. Yes, wonderfully written, I would highly recommend it. Very detailed and clearly an authentic love of God, she encourages us to walk in a closer relationship with the Lord and to live a well meaningful Christian life. The most valuable lesson I learned from this book can be summarized in three key points; Growth, Resilience and Self-worth. The author clearly shows us that "mistakes do not have to define you". While everyone makes errors in life; you should focus on learning from them and moving forward, as your actions and character over time are truly what defines you. Growth through mistakes are opportunities for learning and improvement, allowing you to become a better person. Resilience matters; how you handles mistakes and bounce back from setbacks is more important than the mistakes. Lastly, self-worth is not defined by errors. Your value as a person is not solely based on your past mistakes. You are not defined by your mistakes but rather the resilience that's created from them. Finally, this is a good gift for yourself or anyone who is navigating adversity or questioning the next step in their path.
