About this listen
There is something about the tall mountains and lonely forests that make Scotland the perfect setting for these dark and macabre stories. Maybe it is the solitude you can find within minutes of leaving the city. Maybe it’s the way the mist can quickly descend from the hills to leave you feeling alone and isolated. This is a country that remains trapped by the history of ancient past battles, a people still searching for their true identity in the world. A once proud Kingdom now ruled by others. This is Scotland, the land of ghosts.
This book contains seven dark tales set in the beautiful glens and countryside of my nation, Scotland. I dare you to seek out The Watcher who preys on those we love, escape to Ben Nevis as the floods close in, weep with the man who can never be free of his dead mother, and walk beside the boy who will always wonder if his first love was only a figment of his imagination.
Seven dark and macabre tales from Scotland.
You are in for a treat if you read 'A Ghost in the Glen' by prolific author Richard M Pearson. This wordsmith delivers unique, chilling, and macabre tales, both brutal and raw, yet with a surprisingly tender, heartfelt tone.
They say that variety is the spice of life. Here , in one book , we have seven completely different tales, bursting with emotion and drama, the common factor being the Scottish landscape.
What better way to spend a winter's night than a glass of Macallan in one hand and " A ghost in the glen" in the other.

Stories were okay..
I thought the title was a bit deceiving, not many were about actual ghosts. More odd things happening
