About this listen

Bella Davis never thought she would bury her parents so soon. Her mother and father were high school teachers, both sixty-eight years of age and active in the community until the Coronavirus took the world by surprise. Her parents died within months from the start of the virus where leadership in the United States neglected to track and take seriously what would eventually kill hundreds of thousands of Americans and millions world-wide. Bella felt alone as their only child and found it difficult to cope. At the suggestion of her best friend , Marnie, she attends a Zoom support group for those who are grieving loved ones during the Covid-19 Pandemic. She finds hope among the family members who have suffered but develops a special friendship with software business owner, Stone Stanton whose identical twin, Samuel died as a result of the virus. When they finally meet in person and work towards turning sadness into gladness, they have to face the baggage that each comes with to determine if the friendship will develop into something more. Stone suggest that they quarantine together as friends to better support each other. Will Bella agree to quarantine? Will the friendship blossom into a serious relationship? Will grief leave them broken or will they pick up the pieces of life and carry on? Family Life Genre Fiction Leadership Friendship
