While 13% of boys are diagnosed with ADHD, only 4.2% of girls are, and it’s not because girls don’t have it: it’s because we are misdiagnosed! To make matters worse, the older we get, the harder it is for medical professionals to diagnose and treat us properly. Best 90s culture left me smiling !
Krista Brea’s book, 90’s Nostalgia: Influential Moments, Movies, Music and More from One of the Greatest Childhood Decades,” is jam-packed with 90’s nostalgia that is relatable, Relatable, RELATABLE!
For all of us now approaching “early middle age,” one of the phrases I read in a recent NY Times article, as we are at the upper echelon of the millennial spectrum, her book highlights our iconic teenage culture that will always remain in our hearts and minds. As I read thru Krista’s book, I found myself smiling ear to ear with those “magical memories,” as she calls it, from our young adult years.
Krista works professionally as a Specialist in SEO Search Engine Optimization with a background in Marketing and a college degree in CIS Computer Information Systems. She proves that not only is she a “computer geek,” but she also is empowered with a high level of valuable expert knowledge of the entire 90’s decade.
Krista is well-rounded in every aspect of the 90’s decade. “90’s Nostalgia” encapsulates all of the cultural aspects of the 90’s from TV shows, cartoons, music, gaming, fashion; and of course, Technology electronics and innovations. And not only does she discuss Music, she goes thru all the popular genres: Rock, Grunge, R&B, Underground/Rap, Metal and Hip Hop.
And not only does she discuss Technology, but she goes deeper into the coding & program technologies. After all, not only does Krista have 90’s expertise, she is a professional in Computer Information Systems; and this book is a marriage of her two major disciplines of 90’s Nostalgia and Technology.
I highly recommend this book to all millennials in search of relatable nostalgia. But also, I recommend this book for any Teachers and College Professors that may touch on the 90’s era in their coursework and can issue this book as excellent reading material. Lastly, I recommend her book to artists and entertainers that may be looking for some inspiration for their next performance as the book contains information on billboard top music and artist hits including top mavens Mariah Carey and Madonna!
Kudos to Krista Brea on the release of “90’s Nostalgia!”

A fun look back!
For me, the 90s were the years of my twenties and it was a decade of change in so many realms. I have so many memories of the 90s and this audiobook was a blast! I kept shouting out "yes! I did that" or "yep! I watched that". What fun this was and I am looking forward to sharing it with my sister this year during our Thanksgiving visit.
In the 90s, I think I owned all the different tvs, listened to cassettes & cds, rented movies at Blockbuster, and loved all the TV shows (so many I still watch on streaming services)! Some of the best movies of all time- Home Alone, Speed, Mrs. Doubtfire, Tommy Boy, and groundbreaking Disney favorites! What a great book full of all the memorable and important details of the 90s. If you were a kid or young adult in the 90s you will love this book!

Nostalgia. Made me smile and oh-so warm inside
Thank you to, Krista Brea, for helping me remember the 90’s. Never really thought about great it was until
Your book shared a list of 90’s movies, songs, artists, fashion, technology, and gaming systems. It truly made me smile while reminiscing. My favorite song is Smooth by Santana and Robe Thomas. I remember singing and dancing to the song, The Sign, by Ace of Base, with my sisters. And being addicted to Sonic the Hedgehog. I believe that acid washed jeans and mom jeans were just not attractive. Anyways, thank you for providing this book and giving us something to smile about.

"Way back to stressless life."
Every era is beautiful on its own, but the 90's is still a nostalgia for adults. Life was simple at that time on the internet and the phone also existed at that time, but not so common. It was the era of pop music and arcade gaming and simple adventure movies.
In this book the writer tries to refresh your memories at her best.

Back to the Nineties
What a great walk down memory lane. This audiobook made me remember so many good things about the nineties. When everything was still simple, but times where changing quickly. This made me laugh because I had forgotten how important beepers where, but, you had to have one, old people or even a Junior high kid. You would get a page and need to find a phone, either at someone's house or find a payphone. This was a fun listen.

Deeply heartwarming and truly magical
The '90s was a truly magical era. It was a time when life seemed simpler, when the internet was just a fledgling concept, and when the world was on the brink of a technological revolution. It was a decade that shaped an entire generation and left an important mark on pop culture. In this book the author takes us on a journey back in time, capturing the essence of this iconic era and conjuring up a flood of memories that wash over the listener like me a tidal wave of nostalgia.
The book is filled with vivid descriptions of everything that made this decade so special, from the rise of technology to the fashion trends that defined the era. The author's attention to detail allows readers to relive the '90s in all its glory, and for those of us who lived through it, it is a truly emotional experience.
As an adult listening to this book, I found myself constantly nodding along and reminiscing about my own experiences growing up in the '90s. It is a testament to the author's ability to capture the spirit of the decade and evoke such strong emotions. The author's style is engaging and accessible, and the narration complements it really well, making it easy for listeners of all ages to become engrossed in this audiobook.
For those who grew up in the '90s, this book will undoubtedly bring back cherished memories and rekindle a love for everything that made the decade so special. Prepare to bask in the warm glow of nostalgia and embrace the magic of a truly unforgettable decade!
