تتركّز الشهادةُ في هذا المجلّد الخامس على وقائع نهو من العمل الفدائيّ الفلسطينيّ، المسمى أيضا، حركة الكفاح المسلح ، التورة الفلسيطنيّة. ويُغطّى المجلّد الفترةَ بين 1968 و 1978. 1968 لأنّه العام الذي شهد معركة الكرامة التي جلبت نتائجها أوسع التأييد للعمل الفدائي. والعام 1978 لأنّه العام الذي أتم فيه المجلس الوطنيّ الفلسطينيّ الاسرائيلي بأغلبية أعضائه نهج السعي إلى تحقيق تسوية للصراع الفلسطيني الاسرائيلي، مفتتحاً المرحلة التي ما تزال ممتّدةً إلى الآن ، ومؤكداً أن هذا النهج قد صار هو نهج الجمهرة الفلسطينيّ. كما هو الِشأن في الشهادات الممتدّة على صفحات المجلّدات الخمسة، اشتمل السرد كشفَ أسرار كثيرة وروايةَ وقائع لم يعرفها إلا قليلون.
