About this listen
Christmas 1776. George Washington's Continental Army is encamped on the banks of the Delaware River, Pennsylvania. A winter storm is brewing and the Delaware River is freezing over. The army is short of men, rations, and morale. The Revolutionary War for independence from the British Empire is in the balance, and Washington is looking for a way to fight back, but he is circled by turncoats.
When a Patriot spy, tasked with bringing news of British and Hessian troops, goes missing, Washington decides to call upon an sharp-shooting militiaman, Isaak Moore, to undertake a mission into British-controlled New Jersey. Unbeknownst to Moore, all hell is to be let loose, and his mission will mean he will fall into a dangerous web of espionage, secrets and deception.
1776: A River of Spies is a historical action adventure story set in December 1776 during the Revolutionary War and the attack on Trenton. A story of espionage, heroes and heroines.
