About this listen
When 16-year-old poetry blogger Tessa Dickinson is involved in a car accident and loses her eyesight for 100 days, she feels like her whole world has been turned upside-down.
Terrified that her vision might never return, Tessa feels like she has nothing left to be happy about. But when her grandparents place an ad in the local newspaper looking for a typist to help Tessa continue writing and blogging, an unlikely answer knocks at their door: Weston Ludovico, a boy her age with bright eyes, an optimistic smile…and no legs.
Knowing how angry and afraid Tessa is feeling, Weston thinks he can help her. But he has one condition — no one can tell Tessa about his disability. And because she can’t see him, she treats him with contempt: screaming at him to get out of her house and never come back. But for Weston, it’s the most amazing feeling: to be treated like a normal person, not just a sob story. So he comes back. Again and again and again.
Tessa spurns Weston’s “obnoxious optimism”, convinced that he has no idea what she’s going through. But Weston knows exactly how she feels and reaches into her darkness to show her that there is more than one way to experience the world. As Tessa grows closer to Weston, she finds it harder and harder to imagine life without him — and Weston can’t imagine life without her. But he still hasn’t told her the truth, and when Tessa’s sight returns he’ll have to make the hardest decision of his life: vanish from Tessa’s world…or overcome his fear of being seen.
100 Days of Sunlight is a poignant and heartfelt novel by author Abbie Emmons. If you like sweet contemporary romance and strong family themes then you’ll love this touching story of hope, healing, and getting back up when life knocks you down.

Story
Perpetual daydreamer Liz Buxbaum gave her heart to Michael a long time ago. But her cool, aloof forever crush never really saw her before he moved away. Now that he’s back in town, Liz will do whatever it takes to get on his radar - and maybe snag him as a prom date - even befriend Wes Bennet. The annoyingly attractive next-door neighbor might seem like a prime candidate for romantic-comedy fantasies, but Wes has only been a pain in Liz’s butt since they were kids. Yet, somehow, Wes and Michael are hitting it off, which means Wes is Liz’s in.

Story
Anna Green thought she was marrying Liam “West” Weston for access to subsidized family housing while at UCLA. She also thought she’d signed divorce papers when the graduation caps were tossed, and they both went on their merry ways. Three years later, Anna is a starving artist living paycheck to paycheck while West is a Stanford professor. He may be one of four heirs to the Weston Foods conglomerate, but he has little interest in working for the heartless corporation his family built from the ground up. He is interested, however, in his one-hundred-million-dollar inheritance.

Fantastic!
I absolutely love this book! The author did a fantastic job balancing dialogue and description. Also, I love how she showed it's not the outside what matters, but the inside when it comes to love. I have a disability, so that part resonated with me. If you love motivation and romance, this book is a must-read!

It was so hard not to cry!
This book was just so sweet and lovely. Gosh I genuinely nearly broke down in tears at the end! The writing felt simple yet beautiful. It was just such an easy and fun read! Plus Abbie’s performance in the audiobook was absolutely incredible!! I could really feel Tessa and Weston’s emotions through Abbie’s voice! I absolutely loved it!

Well done!
My teen-age niece recommended this book and I am so glad she did. The story is excellent and portrays realistic emotions associated with disabilities. The author did a beautiful job of narrating the story herself.

you just have to read it
this book was amazing. It's so well written, so beautiful, and so meaningful. this book didn't just get its message across well, it taught me its message. I used to have PTSD regarding amputation, and I have begun to recover from it, thanks to this book, and Weston Ludovico. you seriously have to read this.

I picked this up as a pallete cleanser between horror novels. I enjoyed the male pov chapters much more than the females. she was so whiney.
