内容紹介

「やなぎ橋の怪」(29分)
岐阜県養老郡にある杭瀬川にかかる橋には曰くがある。
佐竹さんは奇しくもその曰くに一枚かんでしまっている当事者の一人だ。元来幅は狭く、ガードレールも何もない古い橋は地元の地理に詳しい利用者でさえ相当に気を使わなければ車での往来はよほど困難な場所だったそうだ。それでも却って安全運転になるためかそれまで事故らしい事故は起きていなかった。
それが昭和の終わり間際についに車ごと川に転落し運転手が死亡する事故が起きてしまった。この事故をきっかけにいよいよ橋の架け替えが具体化することになったのだが、以降十数年の間に同じような死亡事故が相次ぎ、橋架け替えに準じた土地開発のもめごとのさなか不審死を遂げた老人までも合わせると六人もの人が亡くなったのである。
