Something To Write Home About Volume III wraps up the series of three books commemorating the centennial of World War I. Volume three is a montage of postcards, photo's and letters collected by our soldier during his time in France, and Germany. The collection includes accolades he received throughout his life after the war ended, his marriage and passing.

In 1997, on the 98th birthday of my Grandad George, he passed me his personal diary of his time in the army in the first world war. In the diary, George details his time in the battle of the Somme, and the adventures and trauma he endured. In the diary, George details fighting in battle in the tanks, saving others, and his amazing friendship with Richard and Simon which helped to boost his morale during the army. In the diary, George details his bravery and battle to return home to achieve his dream to become a doctor.

Something To Write Home About Volume II continues our journey through WWI with the letters written by a soldier fighting in the Great War. Volume I contained letters written in 1918. This Volume contains letters written in 1919 until the soldier returns home. The photo's are all of the original letters he wrote. Each one is transcribed for easier reading. There are photo's of the soldier, and his family, in which he misses dearly during his deployment.
