About this listen
Once upon a moonlit night in the Enchanted Forest, where cursed beings are consigned until the spells that bind them are broken....
After he captures Lady Lily Rouge's carriage, Sir Marrok Ulfang, aka the biggest baddest wolf the Enchanted Forest has ever seen, has only one day to win her heart and claim her first sexual surrender, even if it means giving the nosey pixies fluttering outside his cottage window an eyeful.
Otherwise, a wolf shapeshifter he'll stay, damned to remain in the lonely Enchanted Forest forever.
But while he can arouse her virginal body to fever pitch, he quickly learns that his spirited, saucy Lily has a mind and will of her own.
And the daylight is fading fast.
Meanwhile, the one who cursed Marrok lurks in the forest and will fight to keep the couple from leaving together alive.

An Erotic Fairytale
If you could sum up The Woodsman in three words, what would they be?
Innocent, Erotic, Fairytale
What about Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will ’s performance did you like?
The narration was excellent. They perform with a lot of emotion to their voices.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No, it was an erotic and fun fairytale. I did find it a bit distracting to have the sound effects. I'm not used to that in an audiobook.

Fantastic narration!
This is a cute, short story with a fairy-tale feel, including nods to little red riding hood and other well-known tales. Narration is awesome. While I myself am not a fan of sound effects and music in audio (not that it is "bad," just unnecessary for ME), those who consider that a bonus will find that it was done well and was not too loud, intrusive or distracting. The voices and emotions conveyed were perfect for the story. Good story, Excellent narration, Great overall.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! was not expecting that!
Sometimes I like listening to audiobooks when I'm falling to sleep so I figured this would be an easy listen. This was more entertaining than easy. This book was steamy and the sound effects were great although there were parts that scared me...a little (the howling, the scream). Definitely a different kind of listen and I absolutely loved it. WOW! GREAT DUAL narration PLUS awesome sound FX!
Where does The Woodsman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's short (about 2.5 hours) but it packs in SO much that this is on my keeper shelf for re-listening again and again. I'd say easily my favorite top five audiobooks so far, and that includes the first A Song of Fire and Ice!
What other book might you compare The Woodsman to and why?
I can't think of anything else out there that is quite like this because of the intense experience the sound FX brings. You can SEE the wolf fight, the shifter transition from man to wolf, the hilarious pixies and the loch monster in your head. You feel surrounded and immersed in the atmosphere of the magical Enchanted Forest. This production is set apart from the pack and a cut above. Wished it was longer!
Which character – as performed by Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will – was your favorite?
Well, Marok and Lily are the stars of the story, for sure and they have some really great chemistry together. But whoever did the pixies and voiced the old man's crooked doctors was genius. I want more like this from this duo!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There is a twist at the end I didn't see coming that was so sweet I got misty-eyed.

WOW great sound and narration, fun fairytale
Where does The Woodsman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I'm new to them, but this is very high on my list so far
Who was your favorite character and why?
Marok... swoon!
Which character – as performed by Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will – was your favorite?
Marok's deep voice by Will was like having a hunky guy growling sexy things in my ear. Shiver. Yum
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There a way funny moments and the sound effects intensified the whole experience for me.
Any additional comments?
This is a sexy listen and very well done. I'll be checking these narrators out for their other works ASAP

A delicious romance!
Little Red Riding Hood meet your wolf!! OH my was this a hot retelling of a fairytale. I love how Lady Lily is sent to meet her arranged partner, and falls into the wolf's care. How these two instantly fall in love and are meant to be together is all part of the magic if this fairytale. This is a great short and fun read. I hope book 2 comes out soon.
The narration is superb. Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will are a great pair. The sound effects make the story a movie in your mind. Between the narration and the sound effects, this book was one I listened to in one sitting. I did not want to stop listening.

Any additional comments?
** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **
This was fun, but not really my cup of tea...The story was sexy, and well narrated by this dynamic duo...they never ever disappoint me...and I of course love a magical happily ever after...but there was just something lacking for me...and although I dont mind background noises in the production, I dont prefer them either...I still believe it is well worth a listen..especially if you are a red riding hood fan, hey who can pass up a naughty fairytale?

A Fun Romp
The Woodsman is a fun little romp through an enchanted forest, and a perfect listen for a weekend afternoon spent relaxing at home.
Our story centers around Lily Rouge, a maiden on a journey to be married to a marquis, and Marrok, a man cursed to live forever in the enchanted forest as a werewolf. The story starts off steamy and teasing as Lily's mind wanders during her travels, but pulls back to allow us time to get to know Marrok and his plight...and to see the chemistry between them. I loved the delightful twist to the fairy tales we all know by adding a little of non-fairy tales and a dash of lore. It sort of makes the enchanted woods a character in its own right as it plays host to countless legends. The romance between Lily and Marrok is heated from the moment they meet, and I quite liked the nice balance they played to each other. For all her 'innocence' she is full of brazen wit that toys with Marrok's gentlemanly restraint and manners, and it's really nice to see an alpha who places his lady's comfort, life, and needs above his own.
The narrators are the team of Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will, with Honey reading Lily's sections and Leeroy reading Marrok's. Initially when listening to the sample what caught my attention was the use of sound effects, which isn't something I see a lot of in audiobooks but do usually enjoy. I do think there were some effects that could have been slightly more varied, but I really liked the use of the ambient noise for the settings and the creatures around them. Both Honey and Leeroy seem quite capable of dishing a nice number of different voices as well and capturing the emotion needed, making the listening experience pretty fun.
Overall I'd say listening to this was a pretty good way to spend a few hours. It's a fun little tale with plenty of steam and some pretty unique ideas for a book so short.

Enchanting Story
Any additional comments?
This is a fun adult take on little red riding hood. A hot and sexy wolf is out to seduce Lady Lily to save himself from a solitary life in the enchanted forest. He is a kind and patient wolf who is also saving Lady Lily from a marriage she does not want. I found the story fun, interesting and romantic. The romance is pretty hot, so this is not for the young ones at home. I recommend this audiobook if you’re looking for something different, sexy and amusing.I was given this audiobook for free in return for an honest review.
