I liked the story

I did like the story and the little spiciness that was in it. It was sort of a Westside Story come to life. I liked the characters but I didn't feel like there was enough provided to really get to know them well I greatly appreciate how the author made an authentic attempt at making the story as period worthy as possible. I even had to stop a couple of times to Google words to see what they meant. The narration for me was kind of flat, monotone. There was not a lot of emotion in the narrator's voice. Otherwise it was a good short love story.

Emotional Ride...

This was an incredibly engaging story! The central misunderstanding added just the right amount of tension, keeping me hooked until the very end. When everything was finally resolved, it made for such a rewarding and heartfelt happily ever after. I was completely invested, eagerly anticipating the moment when the truth would come to light, and the way it all unfolded was beautifully done.

As for the narration, it was overall enjoyable and brought the story to life well. I did notice a slight breathing pattern that stood out at times, and I may have even heard a doorbell in the background. However, these were only minor distractions in an otherwise fantastic and entertaining listen!

Victoria Romance

The Earl and the Vixen by Christina Diane is an amazing historical romance. C.C. Kline did a fantastic job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, and funny. When to people who have been hurt in the past can they give their hearts to someone else. What if one hurts the other. Can she forgive him. Can they work things out. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Not quite what I expected...

The Earl and the Vixen is a classic miscommunication trope. The story was not at all complicated and very easily resolved. Honestly, seeing as it is billed as erotica, I shouldn't expect a deeper plot, But I wanted more backstory, more tension... more than just sex. The writing was fine and there was the possibility of a good story, it just never got developed as it could have been.

The narration was OK. I sped it up to make it a little easier to listen to. While listening on my headphones, about halfway through I could hear a doorbell and did a double take when I realized it was in the audiobook and not my door. It was faint, but a tad distracting. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints about the narration.

For a short quick listen, it's not bad as long as you don't go into it expecting more and knowing it's quite spicy.
