About this listen

The SIREN (sonic interrogation and resistance eradication neuralizer) is an advanced DARPA project that integrates the cutting edge research into the effects of sound on the human nervous system. The project's goal was to produce a sonic weapon technology that could be directed towards an enemy in the battlefield and make that enemy helplessly submissive towards the operator of the SIREN system. A change in government priorities meant that the project was taken from DARPA and placed into the private sector. The company given control over commercial exploitation of SIREN was the YUI corporation, whose CEO was Amanda Armstrong. Amanda was a 40 year old silicon valley billionaire who was heavily invested in the fields of AI and robotics. Seeing the potential for a robot law enforcement agent she integrated SIREN into the fembot 4000 range of autonomous robots, a silver female figure that resembled the robot from the 1920s classic film metropolis. Late on Saturday night the YUI labs were empty and Amanda decided to power up the fembot 4000 robot and see how it behaved with the SIREN technology.

As they say, what could possibly go wrong when an AI fembot gets mind control powers?
