About this listen

Broke and lonely, adjunct professor Claudia takes an on-campus renovation job to make ends meet. So when three gorgeous hunks show up, mistakenly assigned to the unfinished frat house, letting them live in the old Victorian in exchange for free labor seems like a no-brainer. But having three beautiful college athletes as roommates might be more than she bargained for. Especially when sexual tensions reach a fever pitch, and one of them breaks their only rule: no one goes after her...unless they all do.

As the house devolves into a powder keg of jealousy and restraint, the guys come up with an interesting idea: sharing her as a girlfriend. No secrets, no limitations, just three powerful ex-fraternity brothers acting as Claudia's three beautiful boyfriends. Together they fix the house as they fix each other; Brandon, the sexy football star about to lose his scholarship; Colin, the lithe swimmer struggling to get past a dark betrayal; and Hunter, the charming, sometimes brooding alpha who harbors his own personal secret.

Can Claudia satisfy the needs of three strapping college athletes who worship her as a goddess, mind, body, and soul?

Contains mature themes.

Overall it was worth listening to. The storyline was predictable and kind of cookie cutter, it needed a lot more drama or intrigue. The insta-romance fell short, unless you just want to get right to the romance scenes in your audibles. Narration was alright, but I believe it was mostly AI generated, most of the male voice was monotone and flat, the female voice was better, but the moans were totally cringe. There are a lot of reverse harem out there, this was is in par to average.

Story needed help to keep attention, but it was enjoyable

I’m not sure how an author can take a story of a woman getting over her ex by embracing her sexuality with three men at the same time... and all three men who love and respect her sans drama, but who are all horn dogs equally... making seemingly emotionally mature decisions as a unit (so to speak).... I’m just... my mind is blown.

The baseline of the story in a 5 second summary could make this book seem like a crass and trite plot, but thankfully it’s not that at all.

Yes, the sex scenes are amazingly sensual and descriptive, but not to the point of being redundant or drawn out for no reason. And getting to know the dynamics between the characters was so well done where the evolution of the relationships into something more made you almost say “about dang time!”

All in all, I feel like this was a very well written book with a seemingly “taboo” relationship between four people, but it’s so maturely written in a way whereby you’re left feeling like that’s one of the most normal tellings of a relationship(s) I’ve ever heard, despite the non-conformity of it all.

Interesting new (to me) trope

Not my favorite one, but also not terrible.

Just with there was a little bit more to the story with this one.

Super sweet and hot. Story was sweet, I liked how each character got something from another to make them better.

Cute story

There is a lot more to this book than erotic thrills, and I was pleased to be invested in the characters’ struggles with pain, trauma, recovery, resilience, and redemption in a modern plot. While the villain in this story is a bit one-dimensional, the rest of the characters have surprising (occasional!) turns.

I also liked the reflective theme that emerged about crime & class and institutional abuses of power. So, yeah, a bit more than your average “romance” bodice ripper.

I liked the characters, but the author didn’t make the story believable enough for me.
She’s the renovator? It didn’t sound like she had all that much experience.
Then there’s the fact that she’s a teacher (not an actual professor) at the college but she’s not worried about any job restrictions re having a relationship with a student? I’m pretty sure that’s grounds for firing at all colleges these days. All schools.

not quite believable

I loved the details in the sex scenes. The author was wonderfully meticulous in every detail!

Great scenes!!!!

College bros using "bro"tasic verbiage, most of the steamy parts were written in a very male focused way. That said, I still enjoyed it, it was free and kept me interested and curious to hear the end. Cute.

A little "bro"tastic but enjoyable
