Good overall
Good story overall. I just thought Max was a little over-the-top as a character. I also don’t really understand the current trend in romance fiction of people getting all crazy about age gaps. In the case of Max and Sean, you’d have thought an eight-year age gap was a chasm, which is just not the case.
The intimate scenes were fire, and that was a lot of the saving grace for me. The narrator was excellent, too.

You Unearthed my ❤️and Revived my Soul !!!!
Omg I don’t know where to begin as this conclusion of Max and Sean literally had me holding my chest . Just when I thought Max was ready boom 💥 he shows us just how ready he is not . Sean a sexy , college student who majors in photography lands his sights on Max and boy he doesn’t let go ! This feisty man takes whatever Max throws his way and still stands strong . Max a lonely , guarded Dom by night and Teacher by day realizes that what he has wanted , craved and Desired more than anything is right in front of him , but Max fights and fights it . So many times im this story I was like Sean can do better but better is Max . Please take chance on this story by starting with Upending Tad first , then Unearthed and Revived as the last you will not be disappointed. Kora Knight knocked this out the park and OMFG did Micheal Dean work the hell out of the narration . Perfection !! The growls this man gave us and low breathy whispers wow just wow !! I can’t wait for Breck and Kai to come to audio but for now I will physically read it because I can’t wait !!! Get these books !!!!!

Fight For Your Man.
The conclusion to Max and Sean's story. I was very pleased to have Tad and Scott in the storyline too. I miss those boys.
Max is still miserable. Sean is still hopelessly in love with Max. Max's defensives are down a couple times when Sean comes over unannounced and goes against everything he believes in and loves on Sean, call him lovely Irish names and then realizes what he has done and then turns into the biggest jerk to Sean and kicks him out. But for some reason Sean just won't give up. Max's answer to the problem is to give Sean away to Kai, another Dom. Just give him away like a piece of meat. Typical Max.
There is a time when Sean comes over, just to be a friend (he has accepted they are not meant to be together). Max is not in a good place but promises to not hate on Sean the next day but of coarse he does. Because he is a dick. Sean looses it and calls him a coward. I was crying in this scene. The whole scene from the night before to the morning. Sean is just so sweet.
Max is taken aback at being called a coward, especially as that is what he called Kevin. It opened his eyes to exactly what he has been doing all along to Sean. But is it too late? Sean is not at his apartment when Max goes to win him back and he fears for the worst as Sean told his roomie to take all his stuff. But maybe Max deserves what might happen to him, again, but Sean doesn't. Sean deserves the world and someone who will worship him.
Through trials and tribulations Max and Sean do have their happy ending. It's all because of Sean. Sean did all the work. Max was just a dick. I still think he's a dick. Maybe we will see more of them in Kai and Brecks story to see where they are at. Max better be worshiping the ground Sean walks on.
As always Michael Dean's narration is top notch.

Satisfying Conclusion to Erotic Story
This was a very satisfying conclusion to the Max and Sean's story. The two main characters make a perfect match, Max with his hardened heart and Sean with his bright sparking energy get their HEA after many hot and steamy moments. This story has character development I enjoyed following so much as well as artistic expression, interesting supporting cast and much more. Narrator did a very good job with voices and the story. This is my favorite book by the author, and I am looking forward to more of her erotic stories.

Gosh I just love them so much.
This book, and really this series, is not an easy read, by any means. It aches. Especially this one. There is so much trauma here that causes some heartbreak. But dang I love it so much. Both MCs are cemented into my heart forever. Their HEA is hard won. In between all the heartache, there is so much delicious kink. I will likely continue to read this series at least once a year for the remainder of my days. So good!

Max And Sean 🥰 🥵🥵🥵
I have been interested in these characters since reading Upending Tad.
I want to start out by saying this story has some triggers. Suicide is a big one. There is also self loathing. This is also a BDSM book. I’m sure there are other warnings, but those are the big ones. That I noticed.
Max and Sean’s story. I recommend reading the Upending Tad series first. The time lines in this duet over lap. Max can be a little frustrating at times, but I love how this story came together at the end. The ending made me have some feels.
Also having parts of Scott and Tad in this story was Easter Egg for me. Getting different perspectives of Scott and Tad was also a surprise.
I’m a huge fan of Michael Dean’s narrations and this duet isn’t any different. He brought these characters to life for me. Wow, he made the steamy scenes sound 🔥 🔥🔥.
I totally recommend reading these books.

Max was worth the wait
I loved tad and Scott's story, but in truth or should I say truth be told. Max and Sean's was definitely worth the wait! I absolutely fell in love with these 2 characters their story was something that everyone dreams of. Through the good the bad and the ugly it was beautiful, After getting through this book I am more in love with Max than I ever thought I could be. And Shawn.. God Shawn is absolutely a ray of sunshine, In the 1st time ever after reading many of these kind of books I have truly come to the conclusion that these 2 characters were absolutely 100% made for each other in every way. I strongly suggest This be put on your read list. This story revived my heart into believing that yes, Love is definitely worth the Fight!
And just a quick PS... The narrator's voice was meltworthy

Heartbreakingly Beautiful.🔥
This duet was such a ride to experience. I love all the characters, but especially loved Max. Kora did such an amazingly in-depth breakdown of Max. His rise and fall, and then his rise again. It was beautiful. Bravo Kora.
I truly hope we receive more of works soon. I’ve listened to all work 2x over, and need more.
