 When Ohszu inherits an apartment building the bear-ram decides to make a go at running it, bringing his friend Dieter along for the ride. As soon as they get there though they find that the area they have traveled to is run down with the building being doubly so. With fixer-upper being an understatement the two get to work to try and find a way to make it work the best they can. As Ohszu attempts to find people in the town to fix the problem, he finds the situation is terrible all around, and at first, things seem hopeless before he finds a phoenix named Slypher that promises to help in a most unusual fashion.

When given a book that makes fiction become reality Ohszu starts with his friend Dieter to give him the skills to help, which sets off a chain reaction that creates a gothic manor complete with gargoyles to do his building. The bear-ram quickly finds that he had been given the gift to rewrite reality, and such power does not go unnoticed. DNF... mind numbing

I really don't understand how some books ever get published, this book being a top example. the story is weak. The idea could have been interesting if written by someone that had would actually give more than vague details.
The story line didn't so much progress as much as it just seemed to bounce around from scene to scene.
There are several warnings about sexual situations, which was unnecessary in my opinion. there are quite a few sex sense and they were all emotionless, boring, and odd...
Anyway, I'm kind of OCD about finishing books (even if i don't care for them) but in the end I only listened to a bit over half before I decided I my life was worth more than continuing suffering this way.
