She came for a fresh start, but after the first two months there; she found herself without a job and at the mercy of a handsome stranger named Matt.

Matt offers her a job and a chance at a relationship she never expected to have. She knows she can trust him, but is she ready to take their relationship a step further?

Matt Song is used to taking care of everything on his own and he likes it that way. With every decision he makes, he knows he has complete control.

But he would do anything for Lenore.

This book picks up soon after book 1.

I rather liked seeing the characters realize how much work it takes to deal with the impact ptsd takes in relationships. It's an ever evolving issue that takes vulnerability and communication that our two MC's had to figure out how to work through.

Minor Spoilers - but plot points I enjoyed:
+ No 3rd act break
+ they got some sort of revenge on the SA-er

I'm curious enough to continue the series, but I might be skipping the next one due to the MMC's name ... but I really want to know Andrea's story - I'm so torn.

🎧 Sally Barron, the audiobook narrator, did an okay job reading the book; again, some of the character voice choices were a bit odd but overall it was an easy listen.
