Oh please let this story be going where I think it is!!!
This book was very different than book 1 for me. In my opinion, Mia has done a 180, Richard is a little less Dom than I thought he was and Cameron is so much hotter than I thought ;) I really can't say more without giving away anything so I'll just say I'm really excited about book 3.
The narrator is the same as book 1 and my thoughts from book 1 have not changed. I love her voice but there are times when the way she says things it makes Mia seem like a complete brat with no brains, which is not the case. It's just the inflection the narrator used. And in this book I noticed that Richards voice seems a lot younger and non dominant at all.

Loved the story both books and the characters. I wasn't in love with the narrators voice at times. It was way too soft and almost child like. But after zoning into the story I still was able to enjoy it fully.

Better
While her fight still seems to soft, Mia is coming into her own and going after what she wants. With Cameron having supported her return and helping her claim Richard, Mia goes after her man!! The time comes for Richard and Mia and it’s wonderfully romantic and hot!! She wants to be the dutiful submissive Richard needs having saved him from his darkness, but he doesn’t think she can be the submissive he needs and once again turns to Cameron for help handing over his most prized possession.

Fantastic narration and story
Mia has two dominant men who want to see her meet her full potential and recognize the last demons that are haunting her. She finds herself torn between these men. I recommend this series. I gotchu audio book from the Audible Romance Package.

I'm so obsessed with this series right now. Usually a series starts to lose steam by book 2 but this was even better than book 1!
I'm so confused about who I was Mia to be with and how I want to see this go, which is good because no matter where book 3 will take me, I don't think I will be disappointed!

I can't put it down!!!
I didn't think I'd like,it when I read the cover,the first time I came across the book. I got Audio books a few years later,and seen the reviews, and thought it sounded familiar.I read more reviews other readers left. I can't out it down, in the morning I have ear buds in and kindle in my robe pocket, as I drinking my coffee, and getting morning things done. I burnt dinner, and didn't sleep rest night. I couldn't wait to get to the next book.. I know many are not into BDSM or S/D.. The life style is not for everyone and. It's ok I for one love reading it and Vanessa out did herself when she wrote this series. So far 4 STARS, only because I feel it needed more explicit details, with the scenes, and it could be a little more intense and pleasurable.......

This is the second book to the series with the continuation of Mai’s submissive training. Mia is trained by Cameron Cole, Who is best friends with Richard. Mia is a sweet, beautiful woman who has attracted both men. Both men want her. Very erotic with a lot of heat. Excellent series with great narrative.

Love love this book HATE narrator
This lady seriously makes the story horrible... She turned Mia into a sniveling idiot. This has always been my favorite series and right now I’m hating Mia because this narrator. I do love the book though and recommend READING it. The characters and the relationships between them are beautiful. I really wish they would redo this series.

Enthralled me from beginning to end.
Left me wanting more! So enthralled I can't wait to hear what will happen next in this exploration of BDSM fantasy.
