Hot Forbidden Romance!
This is the first novella in the Big Boys Series. I liked this short steamy age-gap romance. Daphne and Jacob's off limits romance is fast-paced, and sizzling hot. Jacob is Daphne's best friend’s dad. Bryant Walker and Cecily Foster did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I like forbidden romance! Sweet story
A short and sweet age-gap story.
Daphne has been crushing on her best friend's dad, Jacob. Little does Daphne know, Jacob is harboring some secret desires towards her as well. When they finally confess their love for one another, the chemistry is off the charts.

He may be big but their love was bigger.
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with some Christmas holiday romance thrown in. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Kate was a wonderful friend and daughter once she calmed down a bit. Jacob and Daphne met three years ago at the first dinner she was invited to with him and Kate. Daphne had been crushing on Jacob since then but knew that there was no way that he could be interested in her. Jacob had been fighting his feelings for Daphne mainly by telling himself that there was no way she would ever be interested in him. A little mistletoe removed their blinders and allowed them to admit more about their feelings for each other. There was some drama but it’s resolved quickly. I loved their happy ever after.
The narrators had nice voices. They did a great job of bringing the story to life. I recommend listening or reading this book.

This was a quick and easy listen. The FMC has had a crush on her best friend’s dad for a long time. Her bestie even teases her about it. She gets to spend the holiday with them. She finally makes a move when they both are under mistletoe. This is a forbidden best friend’s dad romance. Cecily Foster and Bryant Walker did a great job narrating.

Sizzlingly hot and short age-gap romance.
I highly recommend this 2-hour romance if you are a romance fan interested in the following tropes: age gap, best friend’s father, forbidden, size difference, instalove, millionaire. It is very well written and full of warmth with low to medium angst. The story instantly grabbed me from the first minute and kept me glued until the end. The author is very talented at conveying the emotions and thoughts of the pair of main characters. The chemistry was hot. The brief but graphic and very hot love scenes were excellent and not too long for the story. The two narrators, Bryant Walker and Cecily Foster, gave perfectly brilliant performances with marvelous voices.
The characters are nice, good people. Jacob, 40, is the widowed father of a daughter in college. Daphne, 22, is the best friend of that daughter. Daphne and Jacob were attracted to each other from the moment they met a couple of years before, but the they did not know about each other’s crush. Jacob is built like an offensive lineman, tall and broad. I like that Jacob is protective but not overprotective.

A short and steamy, standalone listen. Book 1 in Mint's new series Big Boys. Our main characters include Jacob Callahan, boss of his own company and big like a mountain man and Daphne, sweet and innocent but completely in love with her best fiends dad - Jacob. Super short, great steamy scenes and a sweet HEA. Fast paced, could have had more of just about everything but I still really enjoyed it. I thought the dual vocals of Walker and Foster were perfect and I loved that this audio was dual narrated to help with the dual point of view. Really brings the characters and story to life. I can't wait to see what more Mint has in store for us in this new series.

Age gap novella

This book wasn’t my fav. I did the audio and the narration was okay, but I didn’t love the woman’s voice. It made the FMC seem much younger than I think was intended.
The story starts with Daphne coming to her friends house for the holidays and we find out she has a major crush on her best friends dad.
I didn’t love the writing in this book from “beefy hands” to some other adjectives the author used I just didn’t love the wording.
Overall the MC and the FMs story plays out and I like that he took care of her and I liked that things without with the best friend and fathers daughter and their overall relationship.
