About this listen

What happens when the role you pretended to play becomes your reality?

Mateo Remmington is the elite king of a clandestine world brimming with sex, violence, and drugs. He's cunning, corrupt, and possessive to the point of insanity. I've just become his wife, his sole obsession.

He’s my addiction, my one and only vice. And together, we play a game of ruin, murder, and betrayal, doing whatever it takes to win.

This is a graphic story of a drug kingpin. I gave it five stars because it was well written and thought out. I won't give any spoilers but when it was over I felt like a needed a shower to wash all the dirty off. Matteo is calculating, evil and an asshole. Elena is convinced she is born to be the way she ends up. Their passion was intense, her friendships with Peyton and Melody were admirable and their dedication to each other was refreshing. But good gosh that ending had me seeing stars! Should have been one book not three books. It was a bit hard to follow because there was the game, real life, so many characters, so much manipulation and a lot of disturbing body disposal.

Wow, truly no heart
