Audible Enchants Fans with Campaign for Harry Potter Full-Cast Audio

Audible recently unrolled a series of spellbinding marketing takeovers that brought the magic of Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions to life for fans and new audiences around the globe.
That excitement kicked into high gear on November 3, as we counted down to the release of the first audiobook the next day with fans worldwide via an interactive, virtual event hosted by social media influencers and Harry Potter superfans Adrianna Redding and Peter Kenneth. Almost 250,000 attendees were treated to sneak peeks of the audio, behind-the-scenes content with the all-star cast, voting for their favorite clips, trivia, digital photo booths and more.
In Sydney, nearly 1,000 fans imagined they were aboard the Hogwarts Express, thanks to a one-of-a-kind journey on a vintage steam train, the Audible Express, where they could listen to iconic scenes from the first audiobook on headphones as they traveled.
In November and December, commuters in New York City and Toronto have found their subway cars wrapped with creative from the audio series, and in Newark and Toronto Pearson airports, holiday travelers are finding enchanted listening libraries where they can immerse themselves in select audio scenes while awaiting their flights.
Visitors to the Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest Experience in Chicago and Vancouver can also discover listening nooks tucked inside glowing trees, offering a cozy escape in which to enjoy snippets from the new audio editions.
Interactive phone booths let Audible Express visitors listen to audio clips and record messages describing what Harry Potter house they were in and why.
Large-scale takeovers dazzled crowds at Manchester’s Printworks and London's Outernet, the most-visited cultural attraction in the UK, which featured immersive audio, 360-degree visuals and listening pods, and at Melbourne Central in Australia, where the series came alive through evocative, dynamic audio-visual installations.
Audible customers were also surprised by unexpected touches of magic in their everyday, including our first-ever takeover of the Audible logo, which incorporated the iconic lightning bolt, along with a custom animated toast in the app that played upon downloading the first book. And we made the new title part of the US Thanksgiving weekend tradition, with an integration with Prime Video’s Black Friday NFL Broadcast, where we offered Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on us for one day only, featured at halftime by announcer Richard Sherman.
We also enchanted fans during screenings of Wicked: For Good, one of the most anticipated films of the year, using the “Nox” spell from the Harry Potter books to dim theater lights and showing a 4DX trailer that brought the audio to life through synchronized physical effects. And in the UK, an augmented reality feature embedded in Metro, the nation's highest weekday distribution print, brought readers to an interactive Harry Potter "audio journal" with exclusive audio from the series. UK audiences were also captivated by a custom integration with ITV’s This Morning featuring excerpts from the beloved Privet Drive letter scene.
We love delighting fans in innovative, immersive ways that showcase the power of audio storytelling to transform ordinary moments into magical experiences. Stay tuned for more, as the remaining installations of Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions are released over the next several months — including a virtual listening party on December 16, 2025, to celebrate the upcoming release of the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
